On To Pastels

In my ongoing task of finally using supplies that I've been avoiding for years, I rocked out some oil pastels on canvas paper. Oh, and I drew more with my favorite purple pen.

I got a new (bulky, square-shaped) sketchbook! I tried to do something a little different to christen this one, so I drew with felt and china markers! Enjoy the experimentation.

Movin Out

It's been hectic this last week, since the move into my new place happened to come days after I returned from NYC. It's good to be back in the city. These are just a few more recent pics that I felt like sharing.



On a side note, I'm pretty saddened about George Carlin passing away. I've digested copious amounts of standup comedy over the years, and he was always a HUGE staple in my collection. He had a way with words that is still unsurpassed. He will be missed.

This is the cover of my sketchbook. I pasted a huge UPS sticker on the front. It's a little easier to find the front of the book now.
